
UTECO started its activities in Peru in 1982, as a manufacturers representative of main international companies. From its inception, UTECO became in a leading products and services supply company for industrial corporations in Peru, mainly in the mining, power generation and distribution, oil and gas, chemical, and environmental control markets. UTECO belongs to an international group of companies also composed of First Technology, Inc. in Florida, USA and UNOTECH in Sao Paulo, Brazil, and a network of associated companies in the region. In 1995, continuing with its expansion process, UTECO was nominated the Peruvian representative of the LOCTITE Industrial product line for machinery and equipment maintenance . |

UTECO gets actively involved in the development of turn-key projects in Power Generation. Since the beginning of the 1990's, UTECO, in representation of Westinghouse, now Siemens Power Generation, has participated in more than 10 power generation mega projects with an installed capacity of more than 1,000 MW for more than US$500 Million.
For the past five years, UTECO has increased its sales by 30 to 40% annually, which demonstrates that our organization is a successful and efficient enterprise. The company has been able to surpass its goals year after year, based on the leadership and philosophical principles that guide us to serve our customers with the highest quality standards of products and services, and continually innovating and optimizing our processes.
UTECO's main office is located in the capital city of Lima and has offices in Arequipa, Chimbote, and Talara, as well as a network of distributors that cover the entire Peruvian territory. UTECO has more that 40 professionals in staff dedicated to continue in this path of growth and prosperity.
